More than almost anything else, our lives are shaped by the built environment we live in. Transport, urban form and urban development mould who we are, and they shape the impact each of us has on the world.
We need to understand how we're being shaped, and what that means. And because the built environment can shape us for better and for worse, it's vital that we use this knowledge to shape our built environment ourselves.
When we regularly consume quality information on transport and urban form, ordinary people become forces for good. Ordinary people start shaping our streets, neighbourhoods and cities to be better for all - which in turn helps us all to be our best selves.
Your contribution will help Talk Wellington's accessible, insightful perspectives become part of the regular information diet for people of the Wellington region. It'll help us pay our running costs and do outreach.
Please note that our operations are modest, but we can still have impact with our limited means. Currently, I'm only working on this part time to curate the site and write the occasional post. Here's an update with further information about our focus for 2019.
Thank you for helping Wellington people make Wellington better!
